Wilson Auction and Realty will conduct the sale, which will start at 4:30 p.m. at the site located at 225 Ridge St.
The school board Friday unanimously approved the action.
The school, which closed at the end of May as a cost-cutting measure for the school district, was in use since 1931.
By law, the district first offered to sell the building to a charter school or government entity.
Superintendent Ann McVey said Friday that Bowling Green State University officials did a walk-through of the building but ultimately decided it would not fit their needs.
McVey speculated the location of the school piqued the university's interest.
