On Feb. 7, the Bowling Green FFA chapter hosted an eighth-grade recruitment day for eighth-grade students who will attend the high school next year.
During the day, students toured the Ag facilities and listened to information on each area that the program teaches presented by the high school FFA members. More than 240 eighth-graders, teachers, and administrators made their way through the Ag department and heard about the opportunities available to them through the FFA.
The following week, Nick Brennan and Amanda Barndt attended the Parent Open House in the evening to give further information about the Ag classes to the parents of eighth-graders as well as hosted an open house of the Agricultural Education facilities.
