The player draft for Friday’s spring football game at Bowling Green State University went quickly Thursday morning as Paul Swan and Dominic Flewellyn made the selections.
Kickoff is at 7 p.m. in Perry Stadium.
‘‘To the guys who are the captains and have to pick the teams it comes down to do you want to be liked or do you want to be respected,’’ BG head coach Dave Clawson said. ‘‘They have to get in front of their teammates and pick who they want on their team and that’s not easy to do. You are hoping they are picking teams because they want to win.
‘‘There’s no type of pressure like peer pressure,’’ Clawson added.
‘‘It’s always fun. You don’t get the chance to be the CEO or something like that in the draft room. It was good to get involved. I felt like I accomplished something,’’ Flewellyn said.
