LIME CITY - State patrol troopers are investigating a hit-and-run crash on Oregon Road in Perrysburg Township Tuesday night that injured a Perrysburg man.
The Bowling Green patrol post was contacted by Mercy St. Charles Hospital, Oregon, regarding a pedestrian that was involved in an injury crash at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Oregon Road, south of Ohio 795.
Subsequent investigation revealed that the pedestrian, Robert F. Leonhardt, 33, Perrysburg, was walking northbound on the shoulder along the east side of Oregon Road when a dark-colored older model sedan, possibly a Toyota Camry or Corolla, struck him and fled the scene. The vehicle should have damage on the front passenger side and possibly the passenger side mirror.
