Stacey Mathey Osborn passed away on Monday afternoon, November 25, surrounded by her family. Stacey received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Bowling Green State University where she was later employed as an instructor in the English department of the College of Arts and Sciences. She specialized in children's literature. During academic year 2007-2008, she was the College of Education's Instructor of the Year.Stacey was Assistant to the Director for two nationally acclaimed arts organizations: Arts Unlimited (a Lincoln Center affiliate) and Ohio Wolf Trap Early Learning through the Arts. Stacey also designed and led performance and visual arts-based graduate seminars in curriculum design and pedagogy for pre-K through 12th-grade teachers. She co-developed and piloted a highly successful first year learning community program at BGSU.
