Lyle G. Pheils, 55, of Jerry City, was born on May 19, 1958 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Lyle G. and Josephine A. (Freeman) Pheils. After an ongoing battle with heart disease, Lyle received a heart transplant on his 55th birthday that sadly was followed by his passing while surrounded by his family, Monday, August 19, 2013. Lyle was always strong in his faith; he was a member of the Calvary Church in Maumee, Ohio. Lyle believed deeply that God would always see you through if you were willing to believe.
Lyle was in the automotive industry for 39 years. He was the owner of Five Point Tire & Auto Service. He was also the founder and president of the Great Lakes Children's Alliance for missing children. Lyle also served as a youth minister as well as a former broadcaster for WJYM.
