SCOTCH RIDGE - Two people were taken to areas hospitals after a crash north of the village on Monday night.
The Wood County Sheriff's Office reports that at 10:30 p.m. Ashlee Marchal, Pemberville, was stopped southbound on Stony Ridge Road at the Sugar Ridge Road intersection, when she proceeded to turn left onto Sugar Ridge.
Due to an obstructed view caused by a cornfield, she failed to yield to a westbound vehicle driven by Isaac Dobson, Bowling Green, and the two vehicles collided.
