| Karis L. Murphy |
She was born September 23, 1929 in Monroe, Michigan to Leroy E. and J. Marguerite (Gillespie) Taulker. She married Richard C. Murphy on June 17, 1951 and he survives of Bowling Green.
Karis was a member of Alpha Chi Omega, Bowling Green Lady Elks Lodge #818, Black Swamp Herb Society and she served as the first Admissions Clerk for Wood County Hospital, when it first opened from 1951-1953.
Mrs. Murphy worked for the Wood County Board of Mental Retardation from 1961, retiring after 30 years in 1991.
Karis is survived by her husband, Richard and her son, Douglas J. (Willie) of Weston, Ohio.
