The corner of Poe and Haskins Road was busy all weekend as vendors were brought in their trailers and set up their booths to sell their wares. Exhibitors lined up to bring in their quilts and knitted creations to be judged in the Home and Garden World building, while nearby the homemade wines were being judged. Across the midway, countless others were brought their art, photographs, hobbies and handicrafts for display in the Fine Arts Building.
The first blue ribbons and rosettes were awarded on Saturday in needlework, wines, home brew as well as handicraft and hobbies. Canning, photography, industrial arts, needlework and FFA projects were among the categories which were judged on Sunday.
