A hearing in a lawsuit in Wood County Court of Common Pleas brought by the owner of the Victory Inn motel has been pushed back until August.
The matter is to be heard in the courtroom of Judge Alan Mayberry on Aug. 27 at 9 a.m.
Victory Inn owner Jamal Garmo, of Michigan, brought the lawsuit earlier this month in response to what he called a series of unwarranted and harassing inspections carried out at the business in May. He has named the Wood County Health Department and the Division of State Fire Marshal as codefendants in the case.
