Four from county earn All-Ohio softball honors
COLUMBUS - Four players from Wood County high schools, including first-team selection Ricci Emahiser from North Baltimore, have earned All-Ohio softball honors from the Ohio High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association.
Perrysburg's Katie Dunphy and Eastwood's Ally Gabel were second-team picks and Rossford's Margo Jackson was on the honorable mention list.
A senior catcher, Emahiser was a Division IV selection. She hit .531 with 22 extra base hits, 39 runs scored, 48 RBI and seven stolen bases.
Dunphy, a senior shortstop, was a Division I selection. She hit .462 with 20 extra base hits, including six home runs, 32 runs scored, 23 RBI and seven stolen bases.
