Robert C. Spanfellner, 77, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was born in Gibsonburg, OH on August 22, 1935 to Carl W. and Hazel M. (Jones) Spanfellner. Robert married the love of his life, Roberta A. Reinbolt in August of 1958 and together they raised their two daughters.
He courageously served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
Robert worked hard as a security guard at L.O.F. for 10 years until he took a supervisor job at Chrysler until he retired after 23 years in 1991.
He was a faithful member of St. Rose Catholic Church, where he was part of the Men's Group Holy Name and a former parish council member. Robert was involved with the VFW and the American Legion Post 28, where he served as an officer at county and state level. He was also a lifetime member of Sandusky County Sportsman's Club.
