Frick Hoadley, 96 of Findlay died at 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center. He was born on June 5, 1916 to the late Virginia (Frick) and Ira Hoadley in Van Buren. On August 1, 1937, he married Helen Marie Stahl and she preceded him in death on April 1, 2013.
He is survived by one son, Larry (Leslie) Hoadley, seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Lynne Hoadley.
Frick was a 1934 graduate of Van Buren High School. He was a member of the Van Buren Presbyterian Church, where he served on various committees and boards. He served as a board member on the Van Buren and Hancock County School Boards and as Allen Township Clerk. Frick was a member of the Morris Chapter #265 Masonic Lodge in North Baltimore.
