The Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) strongly encourages residents to vote for Bowling Green City School District’s 6.75-mill operating levy on May 7.
While the economic downturn has been hard on many people in Ohio, it is important to remember it has been especially hard on our schools. Bowling Green and schools across Ohio have seen their funding cut and revenues decline during recent years, which has made it challenging to maintain the high-quality education you have come to expect. Bowling Green received $1.1 million less in total state funding this school year than it did four years ago.
