Sentinel's Home and Garden Expo in full swing today

Despite less than spring-like temperatures on Saturday, attendees turned out in droves for the Home and Garden Expo at Bowling Green State University’s Stroh Center.

The event featured 97 vendors, nearly double last year’s total, stationed on the Stroh’s main court and Hall of Fame Area. The event is open until 4 p.m. today.

“Attendance has well-exceeded last year’s event,” said Betty Kahlenberg, advertising director for the Sentinel-Tribune, which again sponsored the second-year event.

“Actually, I think the cooler temperatures worked out for us because it’s too cold to be working outside,” she said.
