One injured in crash
JERRY CITY - A Bloomdale woman was injured in a Thursday night crash on Huffman Road north of the village.
The Wood County Sheriff's Office reports that at 11:10 p.m. Jeffrey Bockbrader, Bloomdale, was southbound on Huffman Road, just south of Ohio 281, when he failed to stop for a posted stop sign at the intersection and struck a vehicle driven by Teresa Benschoter, Bloomdale, in the rear.
Benschoter's vehicle then spun out and came to rest in a ditch.
Benschoter sustained incapacitating injuries and was taken to Wood County Hospital by Central Joint EMS. She was not listed as a patient at the hospital this morning.
Bockbrader was cited for a stop sign violation as well as expired registration.
