Shirley Lee Asmus, 77, of Bowling Green, OH, died April 17, 2013 at her home. She was born February 4, 1936 in Deshler, OH to Harold and Ruth (Walter) Smith. Shirley was a graduate of Otsego High School.
She worked at BGSU for 15 years, retiring in 1982.
Shirley was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, where she was on the altar committee and a preschool aide. She was a den mother for Pack #350 for 12 years.
She loved baking, yard work and taking vacations once in a while. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Shirley married Robert Paul Asmus June 20, 1953. He preceded her in death in 2002.
