President Bill Potter welcomed all those gathered noting, "FFA members are living the theme of 'Grow' by exploring the many options that are open to them within the National FFA Organization and the agricultural industry. From competing in soil, poultry, and livestock CDEs to hosting Ag. Day, an Agricultural literacy event, Otsego FFA members are striving to 'Grow' their potential within their school, community, and world.
Among the highlights on Wednesday was a review of the chapter earning top honors of being named a 3-star National Chapter at the national convention.
Ben Thomas read the details of the honor.
"Each year all FFA chapters across the state are to submit a National Chapter Application to the State FFA Association for evaluation of their program of activities," he stated.
