ROSSFORD -The was plenty of bling in the Penta Career Center board room Wednesday as more than two dozen students showed off the trophies they won in state competition.
The Penta school board at its meeting also agreed to go to bid for two new buildings on campus.
Fifty-one Penta students throughout its 16 school-district coverage area qualified at state to continue on to nationals.
Representing Penta in Anaheim, Calif., later this month in the national DECA competition are the following Wood County students:
• Maria House and Rebecca Reisberg, both of Bowling Green High School, competing as a Business Law and Ethics team.
• Madi Creps, of Perrysburg High School, competing in Human Resources Management.
• Hannah Welker and Annie Rutherford, both of Perrysburg High School, competing as a Marketing Communications team.
