BGSU softball salvages split with Buffalo (4-12-13)

Katie Yoho hit a two-run home run and Jamie Kertes pitched 3 1/3 innings of scoreless relief Friday to give Bowling Green’s softball team a 2-1 victory over Buffalo.
The victory enabled the Falcons to salvage a split of the Mid-American Conference doubleheader at Meserve Field after Buffalo posted a 2-0 win in Game 1.
Yoho’s homer opened the scoring in the third inning, and the pitching of Paris Imholz and Kertes protected the lead.
