For bowlers who enjoy playing Ohio Lottery games, Al-Mar is introducing its Lucky Lotto No Tap on Fridays at 7 p.m.
The event is not a league, but will be held each week beginning May 10 and running through Aug. 16.
The cost will be $15 per person per night.
Each bowler will receive one instant lottery ticket and will share in a collective pool of Keno games valued at $2 per person per week.
The cost includes three games of no-tap bowling and scores will use an 80 percent handicap, based on a 225 average. One lucky person each Friday will win a $25 restaurant card through a random drawing.
No advanced registration is necessary and is open to all adults of legal age to buy lottery tickets.
USBC awards: Robb Waynick and Jon Miller, bowling in the Randy Miller Memorial League at Al-Mar on Thursday, each bowled 300 games. Interestingly both 300s came in the third game of the night. For Miller, it was his first 300 game. Waynick added games of 236 and 227 to his third 300 game for a 763 series. His fourth game was 235 for a 998 four-game set.
