Carole Matthews, vice president of Patient Care Services and chief nursing officer at Wood County Hospital, is retiring on April 16 after 15 years at the hospital. She has been in the nursing profession for 40 years, having worked in a variety of positions. She has worked as a chief nursing officer in three different facilities. She serves as philanthropy chair of the BG Leadership Alumnae Association. She will continue to reside in Bowling Green.
