Vanderhoff's, a fourth-generation family-owned business and full-service jeweler, has opened a new store in Bowling Green.
The new store is located at 1039 Haskins Road and occupies the site of the former Klevers Jewelry.
While Vanderhoff's is a new business to the area, members of the Vanderhoff family have been providing jewelry, clock and watch repair for residents for many years. Vanderhoff's completed service work for Klevers.
"As Mr. Klever was reaching his retirement, we have been in negotiations with him to continue on," said third-generation owner Terry Beall.
"Bowling Green is a great community. There aren't any chain stores here. It's just three local jewelers."
Vanderhoff's was started by Terry's grandfather in 1954 out of his home in Findlay. The business has now passed through four generations including Terry and his brothers, Bob and Tom Beall, and their sons. Bob Beall is the store manager.
