Three people were injured in two separate crashes handled by the Wood County Sheriff's Office this weekend.
Friday at 6:54 a.m. John Henry, Pemberville, was eastbound on Alexander Road, just west of Wayne Road, when he came upon and struck a tractor driven by Robert Sentle, Pemberville, which was facing westbound in the eastbound lane in order to block a disabled tractor in the roadway near Wayne Road.
Henry struck Sentle's tractor at approximately 50 miles per hour, and the tractor flipped end-over-end. Henry came to rest in the westbound lane.
Both men were taken to Bay Park Community Hospital, Oregon, with non-incapacitating injuries by Pemberville EMS.
Neither was cited because it was determined both drivers contributed to the crash.
