New recycling program starts in Perrysburg
PERRYSBURG - The Office of Litter Prevention and Recycling has started a new program in honor of America Recycles Day.
Residents can recycle CDs, DVDs, video game cartridges, cassettes and VHS tapes by visiting a drop-off kiosk at the Department of Public Service, 11980 Roachton Road.
Residents are encouraged to recycle these items Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., excluding holidays. The city is partnering with ReCellOne to accept such items at no cost to residents or the city.
ReCellOne guarantees complete physical destruction of all items. Their data destruction services exceed the Department of Defense standards and are in complete compliance with state and federal compliance measures. A certificate of destruction is issued to the city for all items recycled.
