Eastwood FFA attends convention

Twelve Eastwood FFA members attended the National FFA Convention, which was held in Louisville, Ky., from Oct. 30 to Nov. 2. The members were transported to the convention with the Bowling Green FFA Chapter in a chartered bus.
While there, the attending students attended the FFA Career Show, which was host to numerous different agricultural colleges and businesses from across the country. Chapter members also toured Churchill Downs, which is home of the Kentucky Derby, saw country singer Dierks Bentley in concert, and attended various convention sessions featuring motivational speakers and retiring National FFA officers.
The Eastwood FFA members who attended were Kirsten Ameling, Michaela Booth, Garrett Browne, Hunter Frobose, Jaimee Hiser, Jolynn Nissen, Jonelle Nissen, Harrison Patton, Aubrey Peters, Megan Rolf, Garrett Tuck and Lucas Tuck.
