The Lake High School graduate is in charge of the school's athletics website and social media accounts.
Huenefeld, who has been the school's sports information director since January 2011, is in charge of posting information on Owens athletics on Twitter and Facebook, and also posts video on the school's YouTube page.
Owens has eight sports: men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, men's and women's soccer and men's golf.
"You see BGSU and Toledo, and other schools with their presence on social media, and we have to get our name out there, and basically tell our story, who we are," Huenefeld said. "It's really grown over the last two-plus years and we're getting better every year."
