Two BG teenagers were arrested after their mother reported just before midnight that they had sneaked out of their home. The 12-year old boy was charged with obstructing official business. The 14-year-old girl was charged with being unruly/a runaway. Both were taken to the juvenile detention center.
Accidents occurred:
March 12
•    at 5:45 p.m. at 223 E. Wooster St. involving three vehicles. Jena L. Kryling, McComb, was cited for assured clear distance ahead and driving while texting. The other vehicles were operated by Chelsi R. Faine, Van Buren, and Mary E. Zachary, BG.
•    at 7:37 p.m. at 1068 N. Main St. Sebastian R. Baxter, of Wayne, was cited for right of way from a private drive after the incident that also involved the vehicle operated by Shelbi R. Anderson, BG.

In city Lot 4 at 1:04 a.m., police arrested Selina M. Sullivan, 28, Rossford, on a warrant from Rossford Police, and cited Jontei E. Simmons, of Holland, for possession of drug paraphernalia. Sullivan was taken to jail.
At a 2:29 a.m. traffic stop, passenger Branden J. Amrhein, 22, of Holland, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant through Perrysburg Municipal Court. He was taken to jail.
Justin D. Taylor, 24, of Weston, was arrested at 2:07 a.m. and taken to jail. He was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired, prohibited alcohol (BAC 0.194), driving under suspension, turn signals required and no front plate.
Accident occurred:
March 14
•    at 5:58 p.m. at East Wooster and University Lane. Arika R. Speicher, BG, was cited for assured clear distance ahead after striking the vehicle operated at Jayna M. Clemens, Lima.

A 19-year-old Bowling Green man was arrested at 12:26 a.m. at 400 E. Napoleon Road and was taken to jail on charges on domestic violence and disrupting public services. No bond.
At a 1:52 a.m. traffic stop, Kristin E. Snyder, Perrysburg, was cited for underage/under the influence. The driver, Jeffrey D. Thomas, of Weston, was cited for speed, operating a vehicle while impaired, and prohibited alcohol (BAC 0.166).
At 2:55 a.m. in the 900 block of Fourth Street, police responded to a loud party and possible fight complaint. Kaitlyn L. Nemeth, of that address, was cited for nuisance party. A man was taken by EMS to the hospital for a head laceration, but refused to speak to police about the incident.
At 2:46 a.m., Zachary M. Wickert, 22, of BG, was arrested for operating a vehicle while impaired/refusal and right of way at a stop sign. He was taken to jail.
Julius R. Kelly, 20, of BG, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant from Sandusky County and was transferred to their custody.
At an 8:30 p.m., Charles J. Downard, BG, was cited for operating a vehicle while impaired, prohibited alcohol (BAC 0.188) and failure to maintain reasonable control. He struck a parked car at North Grove and Clay streets. Both vehicles were towed.
In city Lot 1 at 11:36 p.m., Mark Thomas Reddin, Rudolph, was cited for possession of marijuana. Juveniles at the scene were released.
At 11:31 p.m. on Ridge Street, Tyler M. Gilliam, Daniel J. Gould, and Michael S. Workman, all of that address, each were cited for nuisance party. Kelsey A. Vandenberg, Westlake, was cited for underage possession of alcohol.

•    at 9:15 p.m. at East Wooster and Troup Avenue when Benjamin J. Pinkelman, Haskins, and Dallas J. Lee, Sylvania, each were cited for assured clear distance ahead. A third vehicle in the crash was operated by Cody R. Downs, BG.
•    at 9:37 p.m. at Sharon and North streets. Kenneth F. Mucker, BG, was cited for improper backing.

At 12:35 a.m. on Frazee Avenue, Michael G. Okdie, 19, of Toledo, was arrested for trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to jail, no bond. Tyler R. Ewing, Toledo, was cited for underage possession of alcohol and drug abuse/marijuana.
At a 3:08 a.m. traffic stop, passengers Jacob R. Arps, Natha R. Gerken, both of Defiance; Lucas A. Hesterman, Napoleon; and Bradley E. Bodenbender, of Stryker, each for cited for underage possession of alcohol.

•    at King Road, just west of Hull Prairie Road. Brittany Burkhart, BG, was cited for failure to control after she drove off the road and overturned.

Eleven Bluetooth headsets were reportedly stolen from a business in the 12000 block of Deshler Road, North Baltimore.

•    at Hull Prairie Road, just north of Hanna Road. Colin Coriell, BG, was cited for reckless operation after he drove into a ditch.

A mailbox, valued at $100, was damaged in the 400 block of East Main Street, Portage. Two other mailboxes were also damaged in the 300 block of West Main Street.
