Carl L. Phillips, Sr., 70, of Bowling Green, passed away at 11:47 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the Days Inn, Bowling Green.
He was born on December 20, 1942 to the late Ollie A. and Orla B. (Myers) Phillips in Findlay.
He is survived by his son, Carl (Pam) Phillips, Jr. of McComb; a daughter, Traci Maushund of Largo, FL; six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn.
Carl was a member of the V.F.W. Post #1148, the Bowling Green Eagles and the American Legion Post #23. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Jerry City Cemetery. Pastor David Melton will officiate.
