Employees of Iseler Demolition, Romeo, Mich., use torches and cranes Tuesday to tear apart Bowling Green’s water booster station on Haskins Road north of the city. The booster station has been unused since the city constructed a second water transmission line from the water treatment plant several years ago. The same firm will demo the Manville Avenue tower when a 1.5 million-gallon tower is completed on West Newton Road in 2015. The cost to demolish both towers is $90,000. (Photo: J.D.
