The Bowling Green Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate a serious injury crash that closed down southbound Interstate 75 north of Bowling Green Tuesday morning.
The crash, which was reported at 5:05 a.m., occurred at milepost 182 in Center Township.
According to the patrol, Arthur M. Watson, 59, Huber Heights, was driving a 2004 Nissan Frontier southbound when a 2003 International commercial truck driven by Brent Waddell, 41, Macomb, Mich., failed to maintain assured clear distance and struck Watson in the rear. After impact, both vehicles went into the median and came to rest.
