Murray State was just what the Bowling Green football Falcons needed Saturday.
After a disappointing 42-10 loss to Indiana the previous week, Bowling Green bounced back with an impressive 48-7 victory over the Racers. The Falcons are 3-1 overall.
‘‘We certainly didn’t play well a week ago; we had to bounce back,’’ BG head coach Dave Clawson said. ‘‘We prepared better this week than we prepared for Indiana.
‘‘The game was clean for the most part until the second half of the third quarter when we got some of the subs in there,’’ he added. ‘‘We got back on track against a team we should do that too.’’
