PEMBERVILLE - The home of a village man facing charges in the shooting of a dog in the presence of its owner's children was reported egged this weekend.
Christopher Zimmerman, 64, is next scheduled to appear in Bowling Green Municipal Court Oct. 2 at 1:30 p.m. on charges of injuring an animal, inducing panic and pointing and discharging firearms.
According to the Wood County Sheriff's Office, the egging incident, in the 100 block of East College Avenue, was reported just after 7 a.m. Sunday.
The house had eggs and "also possible pumpkins thrown at it," according to an initial call.
