
He was on born November 12, 1935, in Toledo, to Frank and Mildred (Ehlert) Hecox Sr. On April 4, 1959, he married the former Doris Screptock.
Glenn delivered the Times and the Toledo Blade Newspaper and worked for Chase Bag Co. before going to work as an Inspector for Textile Leather, where he retired after 34 years.
Glenn was an instrumental part of his community. He was involved with the inception of Railway Park, helped build the present block building at Loop Park, was involved in the organization of Walbridge-Fest, was a past treasure for the Walbridge Baseball Association and Walbridge-Fest Inc., and coached girls softball for a number of years.
