Robert James Stalter Sr.
1927-2013
Robert was born in Akron, Ohio in 1927 to Joseph and Elizabeth Stalter.
He was the fifth of eight children. Mary, Irene, Tom and Joseph preceded Bob in death. Sr. Francine, Geraldine and Beth survive.
Prior to entering the Army in 1943 during World War II, Bob worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber, pushing a lunch cart at the Corporate Headquarters in Akron. At the end of the war, he returned to Akron and his job at Goodyear.
Shortly after his return, he met the love of his life, Betty Boliek and married her two years later at St. Matthews Church in 1949. Bob and Betty recently celebrated their 64th Anniversary with their children, Robert Stalter, Jr. (Sanford, NC), Theresa and Michael Marsh (Bowling Green), Mary Ann and Brian Hennessy (Rossford), Daniel and Martina Stalter and Thomas and Susan Stalter (Bowling Green).
