He is a 1962 graduate of Westwood High School and she is a 1962 graduate of Otsego High School.
They were married Sept. 7, 1963 and moved to San Diego, Arizona, and later Seattle.
Tom Knepper, a U.S. Navy veteran, is a retired electrician, most recently working at a wood mill in Seattle.
Sharon Knepper was employed at Hughes Aircraft and then Boeing. Both took early retirement and now make crafts and sell them from California to Washington State.
They have four children and nine grandchildren.
