The Bowling Green State University women's basketball has been selected to play in the WNIT.
The Falcons will host SMU Thursday in the Stroh Center. The Bowling Green-SMU winner will face the Akron-Duquense in the second round.
SMU is 21-9 and won the Conference-USA regular-season title before losing to Central Florida in the conference tournament. UCF last beat Bowling Green in the regular-season.
Others in the 64-team field from the Mid-American Conference are Akron, Ball State, Miami and Toledo.
