Steven Leeper, former director of the Hiroshima Bomb Museum and Peace Park and former chairman of the Hiroshima Peace Culture Foundation, will give a free public talk Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Gish Film Theater at Hanna Hall.
Leeper has spent about half his 65 years in Japan, but never more than six years at a time. He has a master's degree in clinical psychology, but turned to management consulting before completing his education as a psychologist. Arriving in Hiroshima in 1984 with interest in neither peace nor politics, he worked as a consultant in the automotive industry.
