Bowling Green firefighters had their hands full putting out a series of bonfires set by tractor pull attendees at the Wood County Fairgrounds Sunday night.
Firefighters were called to the campgrounds there just after 9 p.m. on the report of an uncontrolled bonfire on the north end.
Upon arrival, a 15-foot fire was observed, with approximately 200 people standing or sitting around it in lawn chairs.
That fire was initially knocked down, but firefighters were called to another smaller fire in the southeast corner of the campground, which was quickly put out.
