BG kidnapping investigated

Police have filed charges against a Toledo woman in connection with an abduction and robbery that began in Toledo and continued in the city over the weekend.
Bowling Green Police have issued a warrant for Brittany J. Long, 20, on charges of kidnapping and robbery.
According to Bowling Green Police, the alleged victim, a Chinese national studying at the University of Toledo, was in an online chat room Saturday evening when he received a message from an unknown person asking if he would like to go to Cedar Point the next day. He indicated that he would, and arrangements were made to pick him up at his residence.
"He was just in a chat room," said Maj. Tony Hetrick of the BG Police Division. "I don't know what kind of information he was divulging. Somehow they determined they could get him out and they were able to do it."
