FOSTORIA - One man is dead after a Sunday motorcycle crash on U.S. 23, just north of the city.
The Bowling Green Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol reports they were notified of the death of Duane Baker, 51, Fostoria, Monday night.
He had been taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, by Life Flight for treatment after the accident.
The crash occurred at 5:35 a.m. Baker, driving a 1999 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, was reportedly southbound on Route 23 when he drove off the right side of the road, overcorrected, came back on to the roadway, and then overturned. He was not wearing a helmet.
