The contract calls for no raise this year, 1 percent next and 1.5 percent in the final year of the pact.
The contract also requires teachers to pay a higher percentage of the health insurance premium. They now pay 10 percent. Under the terms of the new contract that will increase to 12.5 percent the first year and then to 15 percent in subsequent years.
Superintendent Daniel Creps also said they will pay higher copays for doctor visits and prescriptions.
The bargaining unit includes about 140 educators.
The contract passed 4-1 with Jackie Brown casting the dissenting vote "regretfully."
Board member Bev Koch thanked the teachers for their cooperation in working on the contract.
Teachers ratified the deal Thursday.
