The public is invited to attend the Wood Soil and Water Conservation District's 64th annual meeting and awards banquet on Sept. 12, at Nazareth Hall, 21211 W. River Road, Grand Rapids.
The evening begins with the election of supervisors at 5:30 p.m. with the buffet style dinner following at 6:30 p.m.
Two supervisors will be elected from the slate of three nominees: Neil Badenhop, Dennis Ferrell, and Lee Sundermeier. Residents or landowners, firms and corporations that own land or occupy land in Wood County and are 18 years of age and older may vote for supervisor.
