There has been some letters on both sides of the fracking issue. We heard from a respected scientist in the field from our own university (BGSU) where I myself served for three decades. I am not qualified to fully comment on either the scientific or the technical aspects of the extraction process as my research has been in a different area. But all of us should gather as much information as possible about issues that affect our lives such as water, air etc, My view is that anything we attempt do, especially on a large scale as this fracking issue, has to rely solely on science. There alone is the real guidance. This means both sides should unite and put their resources together to get the best scientific team assembled to tackle all the challenges posed by this issue.
