Falcon swim team earns academic honors
The Bowling Green State University swimming team has been recognized for earning Team All-American status by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America for the spring semester.
The Falcons finished the semester with a cumulative team grade-point-average of 3.42. The CSCAA recognizes teams who finish the semester with a grade point average above 3.0.
In addition to the team award, three Falcons earned Scholar All-American honorable mention from the CSCAA.
Alexis Kain, Stephanie Boyle, and Joëlle Scheps earned honorable mention, given to student-athletes who achieve at least a 3.5 GPA in the classroom, while achieving "B" standard in the pool.
