Leah Bolton, a native of Chicago, Ill., will attend Bowling Green State University this fall and play women's basketball for the Falcons.
"We are excited to add another member to the incoming freshman class," said BG head coach Jennifer Roos. "Leah and her family visited recently and there was an immediate connection with everyone on the visit to Bowling Green. She earned numerous accolades and achieved many successes during her career at Marist High School and with her AAU organization, Illinois Xcitement.
Bolton, a 5-foot-11 post player, was an all-state second-team selection at Marist High School. Bolton averaged 15.5 points and 5.8 rebounds per game as the RedHawks went 24-10 last season. She finished her high school career with 1,735 points, the second-highest total in Marist history.
