Journey Stories stops in Bowling Green

Some trips are made by train. Others by foot, by car or by air. But, in the end, they all have one thing in common: everyone has a traveling tale to tell.
Journey Stories, a traveling Smithsonian exhibition focusing on how transportation and migration helped build the United States, will be on display at the Wood County Historical Center and Museum beginning Saturday and running through Sept. 15.
"Everybody has a journey story," said Center Director Dana Nemeth, "whether it's you moving to the county to knowing the story of how your parents ended up here, or your grandparents, it's part of everyone's story."
The center is the only location in Northwest Ohio to host the exhibit.
