Tuesday crash injures driver
WALBRIDGE - A woman was injured Tuesday in a crash on Interstate 280 just north of Walbridge Road.
The Ohio Highway Patrol reports that at 7:35 a.m. Ashley Loomis, 24, was southbound on I-280 when she lost control, struck a concrete wall on the left side of the road, then crossed the road and struck a guardrail.
Loomis reported possible injuries and was taken to Mercy St. Charles Hospital, Oregon.
She was cited for reasonable control.

Wood County Children's Services will hold an Alternative Response Community Forum Aug. 7 at 9 a.m.
The forum will allow attendees to learn about Alternative Response, how it differs from current investigative processes, and how the public can get involved.
Alternative Response is a second response option where caseworkers partner with families and ensure that they are connected with services and supports they need to keep their children safe.
The forum will take place at the Wood County Educational Service Center, 1867 N. Research Drive, Bowling Green.
