Roland Harris gave a short acknowledgement of W.W. Brown's Civil War deeds, as a member of the famed Andrews' Raiders, and what it still means to us as a nation today. Craig Brown played "taps" to honor their grandpa's service to the country.

Following the family's trip to the New Belleville Ridge cemetery on Carter Road, where their illustrious ancestor is buried, Al and Ed Ward, and Hal Hanna presented the group with Brown's Medal of Honor, and explained to all present the results of the family's recently-arrived-at compromise regarding legal action over possession of the medal.
"The family is honored to say that the Medal of Honor will be on display at the Civil War museum in Kennesaw, Georgia," said Harris, referring to the Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History, which is "affiliated with the Smithsonian in Washington D.C.
