Nine vehicles were broken into Wednesday evening at Carter Park.
Maj. Tony Hetrick of Bowling Green Police said this morning that officers were alerted to the incidents around 7 p.m. when a white male, approximately 5'10" in height, was observed running from the Carter Park area. The man was not located by police.
Officers began checking the parking lot and discovered the vehicles had been broken into, many with windows broken out.
Various items, including a jacket and a purse, were stolen in the incidents.
A short time later, one of the credit cards taken in the thefts was used at a gas station in North Baltimore, but video was not available. Police do not have a suspect.
